ENG The room next door

Ingrid has just published a book about the terrifying fear of death. During a book signing in New York, she runs into an old acquaintance who tells her that a mutual friend, Martha, is suffering from cancer. Ingrid decides to visit her, and even though the two women haven't seen each other in years, they instantly reconnect. A former war correspondent, Martha is suffering from an incurable illness and is considering euthanasia when the pain becomes unbearable. Perhaps she will convince her friend to be present in the next room when the time comes.
